Silver needles are a barely processed white tea, so pure, it consists of just buds from the first plucking of the tea in early spring.

It is a delicate tea and should be steeped with 160 degree water for 3 minutes or less. I highly recommend the gong fu style of making tea in a gaiwan, but it is fine to make it normally. I like to rinse the tea (steep it in water for 15 seconds and dump the water and then steep the tea as normal) By the third to fourth steeping, it hits its peak and has so much sweetness and flavor.

If you enjoy White Peony tea now and then, you should give this one a try for a real treat. It usually sells at retail for $100+ per pound, but we don't upcharge products the way most retailers do. It's the same quality and authentic white tip silver needle but you can try it for a couple dollars through us.
