Papua New Guinea Kunjin Mill

This is a fantastic lot from the Kunji Mill within the Waghi Valley, located in the region known as the Western Highlands.  Famous for producing some excellent offerings, this mill supports hundreds of small hold farmers who average 1.5 hectares of land (approximately 3.7 acres) and tend to focus on high quality output this lot is one of our favorites in recent memory!

We are roasting it quite light to enjoy almost a syrupy sweetness and candied nutty sweetness, but also some sesame notes. It's definitely a bit of an atypical Papua New Guinea in the sense that it is fruity and nutty with plenty of complexity and depth.
