Matcha Ceremonial Grade

Matcha Powder is the actual tea leaf ground up -- pulverized really -- and intended to be ingested. This is made from an early spring crop of Gyokuro -- a bright green shade grown Japanese tea that is full of chlorophyll. It was grown in Kagoshim. Our culinary grade matcha is quite nice and more affordable, good for tea lattes and for baking. But Ceremonial Grade Matcha is brighter green, sweeter, and just overall higher quality. Floral and fruity notes are followed by a buttery finish.
