Hibiscus leaves are an ingredient in many herbal tea blends -- it adds a bright red color and distinct tart taste to the blend. It is pretty intense on its own, but it has a reputation for being helpful with reducing blood pressure, cholesterol, and inflammation, as well as believed to be generally good for the immune system. Although we think it tastes best blended with other ingredients and can't recommend a 100% Hibiscus Tea, you are welcome to buy it straight if you so desire.

Steep: 1 Tbsp of tea for every 12oz water. Water temperature: 205. Sweetener highly recommended. Steep time 3 minutes.
