Ginger Root
Ginger Root
Ginger is one of the world's most powerful herbs. I explored it for an entire year, enjoying the spicy warmth it adds to foods, and the pleasure it gives the taste buds. Ginger has been documented to strongly support your immune system, help you fight colds, reduce inflammation, aid digestion, lower blood pressure, relief of nausua, and protection against cancer. On top of all this, it tastes phenomenal. You might expect ginger tea to be bitey and harsh, but it is actually quite smooth and warming, a very gentle comforting warm tea to drink on cold nights, or a refreshing iced tea to drink on summer afternoons. A small amount of sweetener is recommended. Adding a small amount of fruit juice (apple, pineapple, or cranberry) to the ginger tea will also give you fantastic results. As far as cost vs. health benefits, ginger tea is one of the best values for your health you can possibly invest in.
