East Timor Ermera

East Timor declared independence and is no longer part of Indonesia, but their island country is still amidst the other Indonesian islands, and their coffee has that satisfying full bodied character that one would expect. 

This small village microlot from the Ermera district has a delicious grape sweetness followed by a winey finish.  East Timor coffee doesn't get much attention in the specialty coffee world, but it's excellent in a french press where you pull out a lot of flavor and thick mouthfeel.
