Grown and harvested on the Yunnan province in China, these highest quality leaves and buds are rolled into pearls. It only takes a couple pearls per cup - watch them unfurl as you put the hot water on them, releasing their scent of tea and mystery.
I enjoy it as an "everyday black tea" but particularly enjoy the mystique and intrigue of the story behind the tea and the fun name. It is lighter and sweeter than an Assam, but darker and smoother than the Darjeeling. It has a deep, inviting aroma, slight creaminess, and natural sweetness.
