This red-tea based version of Mandela Masala Chai is perfect for when you don't want caffeine. Steep it as instructed to make a concentrate, and then add milk to make a make a great chai latte.
You can also steep it with hot water and add sugar, but that method isn't as satisfying.
Ingredients: Rooibos (Red Tea), Honeybush, Cinnamon, Ginger, Cardamom Pods, Cloves, Peppercorns.
Tasting Notes: Warm spices and very satisfying
Steep: 5 tsp of tea for every 12oz water. Water temperature: 205. Add 7 tsp of sugar. Steep time 5 to 15 minutes. Refrigerate.
When you're ready to drink it, mix the concentrate 50/50 with milk and either pour over ice and enjoy, or heat to 180 degrees and enjoy.
