Sulawesi Toraja

The people of Sulawesi are an ancient people living in traditional custom, largely unaffected by modern technology. They are exceptionally skilled with agriculture, livestock, basket weaving, and wood craftsmanship. The coffee is grown on a particularly remote part of the island, and the lives of the farmers there are steeped in ancient tradition.

Think of it like Sumatra, but fancier -- not as earthy and with an extra layer of flavor to enjoy as you drink it. Sulawesi always seems to taste particularly phenomenal in a french press or manual pourover, and this batch is no exception, but it is a really good mug of coffee no matter how you brew it.
