This coffee travels out of the Andes Mountains on the the Yungus Road nicknamed 'The Road of Death' on its journey from the mill to us.
Bolivian coffees are fairly normal in taste but easy and pleasant to drink with hints of nuttiness in the background. Bolivia doesn't produce a lot of coffee each year but we always grab what we can when it comes into season.
Tasting Notes: Bolivia APROCAFE -- cashew, chocolate, date

"Fairly normal in taste but easy and pleasant to drink with hints of nuttiness in the background." This about says it, Having tried a variety so far: Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, Memorable Nicaragua, Bear Blend, Rainy Day Blend, and Bali Blue Moon, I was struck by how approachable this one is. On my first sip, I thought, “Wow, this is pleasant,” but no major flavor notes jumped out.
If there were an “all-day” or session brew for coffee, this might be it. It’s really enjoyable, the kind of coffee you could sip on for hours without growing tired of it. Perfect for a slow, steady morning, just as good as an afternoon treat.

This is a nice, enjoyable, balanced coffee. It has a hint of sweetness, but nothing over-the-top.
