Kenya Kiangombe Cooperative
From the Kabare Farmers Society. The beans from the Kiangombe mill are often some of my favorites, and this lot is bursting with flavor. Once you are done savoring the aroma, there are delicious notes of cherry, blackberry, peach, a grapefruit acidity, and the classic winey currant full-bodied flavor that good Kenya is known for. The large defect-free AA beans are the SL-28 and SL-34 varietals that the good Kenyas always are.
Roast it about 25 seconds past the end of the 1st cracks. Rush through the middle of the roast and slow down at the end to keep the end result bright and fruity and sweet.
