Ethiopia Sidama Durato Bombe Washed
Ethiopia Sidama Durato Bombe Washed
This one comes from the border of the Harrar and Sidama region, from the Durato Bombe village. We have both the natural process and washed process in stock, and they taste the same except that the washed is much more muted. It has a blueberry aroma, pomegranate and watermelon taste, and a tart juiciness, a little dark chocolate. It's mellow and more approachable than a natural Ethiopia and it is easier to roast.
You still want to roast the coffee lightly unless you are incorporating it into an espresso blend, at which point you can take it up to the 2nd cracks to get a fruity, sweet, creamy shot of espresso.
