coffee subscription

we have a coffee subscription now, and you have questions!

we've been thinking this through for a long time, and we are excited about it. every two weeks we pick a new light to medium roast bean (roaster's choice A) and a new medium to dark bean (roaster's choice B)

We recommend that you sign up for a 12 ounce bag of each, every two weeks, for the ultimate coffee journey. The beans in set A tend to be microlots from Central America and Africa. The beans in set B tend to be microlots from Indonesia and South America.

We only send out beans that we are loving right then. Sometimes we buy a great coffee but there are only a couple hundred pounds of it, so we don't even put it up online for our internet customers because it sells out immediately. That's the sort of coffee that now we can send out to subscribers. But also sometimes we will send out coffees that are for sale on the site, and it is the one we think you should be drinking this week.

The subscription portal allows you to change your own mailing address, credit card information, frequency, etc. You can skip a shipment at any time. You can cancel at any time. You can swap between A and B or a handful of other coffees on our site. You can change the size or grind at any time. It's pretty slick.

The subscription does NOT work with paypal. You have to go through the normal checkout and use a credit or debit card.

The subscription will automatically generate an order for you on the same day of the week each time. So if you start the subscription on a Wednesday, it will charge your card on Wednesday mornings and ship on Wednesday afternoons. It will send you tracking information and confirmation as normal. But you won't get to see what's in your box until it arrives.
