Laos

Laos is a landlocked country between Vietnam and Thailand in Southeast Asia. It doesn't have particularly high altitude so the majority of their coffee production is robusta. They historically have only exported a few hundred bags of arabica specialty coffee grade beans each year, however, their coffee is really worth trying! This offering is particularly special because it is the Gesha varietal, giving it a more delicate, buttery mouthfeel with floral undertones. 

We are roasting it much lighter than a standard Southeast Asian coffee and as a result, it has excellent complexity and soft mouthfeel to show off along with floral, savory, and fruity notes that are truly impressive. It has a lot going on --fruit, floral undertones are notable with the tastes changing as the coffee cools, and a nice clean finish.
