Although classified as a Yirgacheffe, this village called Halo Bariti lies south of Yirgacheffe in unmapped coffee regions, growing wild heirloom varietals of plants. The 255 farmers here have the highest altitude in the whole country to grow coffee. The leader of Halo Bariti is a farmer named Adisu Kidane, and this is his crop. This lot is the dry processed (natural) (sun-dried) beans which make them extra fruity and sweet, and it is a very small lot of Grade 1 beans while the majority of the village's crop was Grade 3.

It has great sweetness and you can smell the fruit before you even put the mug to your lips. We have been appreciating how his careful farming and processing can produce such amazing flavor in coffee beans.

Ethiopia Halo Bariti Adisu Kidane Natural Process Tasting Notes: cotton candy, blueberry poptart, floral, bright, clean aftertaste
