This coffee comes from the little known Kembata region in the Durame Village. This lot is the dry processed (natural) (sun-dried) beans which make them extra fruity and sweet, and it is a very small lot of Grade 1 beans. It reminds me of a Harrar in many ways. These beans have none of the murky or earthy tastes, and as I'm drinking it, I'm tasting sweet lemon pastry, and right as I swallow I get this splash of blueberry muffin flavor with sugar sprinkles. It is jammy and juicy with citrus notes. We think it's a great Ethiopian and have been appreciating how careful farming and processing can produce such amazing flavor in coffee beans.
