Within Costa Rica is the Tarrazu region that is known for the perfect coffee growing conditions. Within Tarrazu is the Dota microregion, which has just absolute ideal altitude and climate (rain shadow) for growing coffee. We bought the largest AA sized beans which were picked at exact ripeness, and the coffee is fantastic! On top of that, the farm is carbon-neutral, using water power and solar power to run the equipment and finding uses for all of the by-product that results from processing coffee.
The coffee has a fruity aroma, zingy pineapple sensation, and a red apple taste. One of the most complex flavorful Costa Rican coffees you'll find.
