Ecuador is a small producer of coffee, but we went there at harvest time and bought the very best Ecuadorian coffees at very high prices, and they finally have arrived. This one was grown by a man named Fausto Romo who we enjoyed hanging out with. He had a lot of fun stories and schemes along his way of becoming a coffee farmer. This particular one is a Sidra varietal, which is exclusive to Ecuador and highly sought after. A juicy mouthfeel, strong floral notes, sugary sweetness, and a winey fruit undertone makes this coffee so impressive and easy to drink.
