This natural processed Yirgacheffe coffee is made up of Mokka varietal beans, giving it a flavor quite similar to a Yemen, but with more fruit flavor.   It is a light roast to showcase its complex undertones. It is grown by small farmers organized around the Konga mill.  Mokka is one of the hardest varietals to grow and is highly demanded.  It mainly only grows in Ethiopia and Yemen and Hawaii.  The coffee has a malty, hops-like flavor with raspberry fruitiness and a creamy mouthfeel.  No earthiness, and very high quality.

Spot on

What one hopes a Yirgacheffe to be: Light but still smooth. Fruity without being too tart. Great beans are nothing without the proper roast, and this one is spot on. Get it while it's here.
