Sumatra Washed

In an unusual twist, the village farmers washed these beans instead of soaking them (wet-hulled process), and it makes this Sumatra much cleaner tasting and complex than other Sumatra coffees that you're used to. It is an excellent brewed mug of coffee, and just as enjoyable as a shot of espresso. A really satisfying taste from a rare coffee bean.

I wish more farmers in Sumatra would utilize the washed process because I would drink this coffee all the time if it were more readily available and less expensive.

If you don't have an espresso machine, still enjoy it as coffee, where it is less fruity and more herbal but still rich and complex.
