Summer Chai Spice

This tea has the warming, almost magical spices and herbs often used to make chai tea, but has a toasted green tea hojicha base and the nontraditional addition of mint. It is intended to just be steeped like a normal tea and drink it straight. An excellent choice of tea for a sunny day.

Ingredients: Hojicha, Spearmint, Ginger, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves, Fennel Seed, Peppercorns

Tasting Notes: 

Steep: 1 1/2 tsp of tea for 8oz water. Water temperature: 205. Steep time 4-5 minutes.

Approximately 14 tsp in a 1 ounce package.
